Mobile Websites are Key to InfoCures' Mobile Apps Services

Recognizing that the mobile web is fast becoming the focus of the mobile device industry, InfoCures is announcing that it now offers mobile website and app development services, including the creation of websites that are built for mobile devices from scratch. According to InfoCures, the advancement of browsing standards makes it possible to relatively quickly provide a mobile app experience that has the look and feel of native apps, but without the elongated development process required to provide native apps across multiple devices.

According to Dan Sherman, InfoCures Executive Director, "We will always have native apps, but the cost to build on many platforms and across multiple devices on each platform makes mobile websites and apps a strong alternative strategy to providing rich web experiences on the 'small' screen." He went on to explain that a single mobile web app, using modern mobile standards, can be built that works across the iPhone, BlackBerry, Palm WebOS, and Android platforms.

InfoCures considers these services to be a natural addition to their current web development services, since InfoCures already has expertise in the technologies used for mobile websites and apps. Also, since InfoCures builds SaaS applications, it will become important for InfoCures to provide mobile access to SaaS applications. In addition, InfoCures believes that all business enterprise web applications will need to provide mobile web apps that streamline and simplify access to data. Mobile websites and apps will be built for business analytical dashboards, easy access to company data while on the road, or for the input of client information durubg onsite service, for example, with service technicians capturing client arrival times and departure times, using mobile capabilities such as GPS, while entering service notes from the field.
