InfoCures Division of Compas Spun Off as Independent IT Services Corporation (April 2, 2008)
InfoCures LLC today became an official company focusing on providing IT consulting
and services to the mid market as well as major corporations in the medical publishing
and pharmaceutical industries. InfoCures previously operated as a division of Compas,
Inc., the largest buyer of healthcare media, serving Compas as well as the clients
and partners of Compas.
Compas, Inc., in becoming the largest corporate buyer of professional healthcare
media, built an IT operation designed to meet the innovative needs of the healthcare
promotional industry. When creating InfoCures as a division of Compas, Stan Woodland,
President & CEO of Compas said, "So many of our partners are turning to outside
resources in order to complete projects that their internal IT departments are unable
to get to, that it only makes sense to leverage our significant investment in IT
resources to serve our partners and clients."
Dan Sherman, the Executive Director of InfoCures, will lead InfoCures' mission to
foster innovation by working with clients to combine business and IT strategies.
InfoCures' SAAS-oriented web application platform allows the company to craft projects
that help companies maintain an advantage in an increasingly global and competitive
environment.

About Compas, Inc.
Compas, Inc. is the largest corporate buyer of pharmaceutical- and healthcare-related
media, and offers the only buying service that encompasses all categories of media
related to professional and direct-to-patient audiences.
Compas’ strong relationships with its supplier-partners, combined with its “Leveraged
Volume Buying” business model, allow Compas to purchase media at rates unachievable
by any other buyer. These savings are, in turn, shared with Compas clients via Compas’
unique “Share-in-the-Savings” business philosophy.
