Compas, Inc. Launches Division Dedicated To IT Services (May 8, 2008)
Compas, Inc. today announced the launch of a division that would extend the services
of its innovative IT department to the immediate clients and partners of Compas
in both the pharmaceutical and medical publishing industries.
Compas, Inc., in becoming the largest corporate buyer of professional healthcare
media, built an IT operation designed to meet the innovative needs of the healthcare
promotional industry. According to Stan Woodland, President & CEO of Compas, "So
many of our partners are turning to outside resources in order to complete projects
that their internal IT departments are unable to get to, that it only makes sense
to leverage our significant investment in IT resources to serve our partners and
clients."
Dan Sherman, the Executive Director of IT for Compas since early 2005, will become
the Executive Director of the new division, to be named InfoCures. From the very
start of his position with Compas, Inc., Dan began organizing the IT department
with an eye on offering IT services to Compas's primary partners in the pharmaceutical
and publishing industries.
InfoCures will operate out of the Compas headquarters facilities in Pennsauken,
NJ.
